The Rituals

Breathe, bring yourself to the NOW. We’ll be making a cupful of bliss for you or someone you love!

Remember, we can't have our coffee taste like paper, now can we? DON'T FORGET TO RINSE YOUR FILTER! Pour some of that hot water onto the filter and dump out that yucky water before adding your freshly ground Pucker Punch Coffee.

V6O

Step 1. Weigh out about 17-gr of your favorite Pucker Punch Coffee, take notice, smell, and think to yourself, “Damn! This is going to be Great!”

Step 2. Let's talk about the Grind Setting… the answer? It Depends on your brew method, in this case for a V60 it should be a medium to fine grind; about a 15 using an Encore Baratza grinder (don't forget to smell the grinds, "mmm.mmm!" Right?)

Step 3. If you have a fancy temperature capable carafe, you’ll need to preheat 289 gr of the best water you can find to about 206° F. If you don't, that is okay too, just let the water boil on a pot, turn it off and wait till the bubbles stop (that's the perfect temperature).

Step 4. Here's where you gently lay them yummy coffee grinds over your pre-washed paper filter, leveling the top with a gentle but assertive shake.

Step 5. Our goal is a beautiful bloom (exciting right!?) Pour out about 66 gr of water for about 55 seconds, or just enough to moisten the grinds; watch the coffee absorb the water and notice the grinds rise while it releases CO2 (this is where we waft like a Barista in competition and enjoy the aroma).

Step 6. Pour out the remaining water in a continuous circular motion, not just cause it looks cool, but so it doesn’t overflow or let the grinds completely dry; losing delicious flavor notes.

Step 7. Swirl proudly while you pour inside your favorite mug, Sip, Slurp & Swoosh yourself into Coffee Heaven!

Step 4. Here's where you gently lay them yummy coffee grinds over your pre-washed paper filter, but make sure to leave the thicker part of the filter (three layered section) over the outlet channel to allow airflow and level the top of the grinds with a gentle but assertive shake.

Step 5. Our goal is a beautiful bloom (exciting right!?) Pour out about 77 gr of water for about 66 seconds, or just enough to moisten the grinds; watch the coffee absorb the water and notice the grinds rise while it releases CO2 (this is where we waft like a Barista in competition and enjoy the aroma).
